This sms could through the other day, 'we just had a f up meeting'
An upset friend
She
was upset with how high handed the meeting went. How little a
discussion there was. Thus she was very frustrated by the end of it.
And to pile it on, she had to make her bf wait for the discussion to
end. I gave her a ring and she was all teary by the end of things.
I
had a hair jerking frustrating day myself too. It's was becoming one of
those days where nothing ever seemed to go right. As they say in
soccer, 'the ball just won't go into the back of the net'. My misery
was compounded by a week old layer cake which a friend asked me to get
for her and she was being totally uncooperative in picking it up. I was
asked to keep the cake which didn't really sit down well with me. Gosh,
I've blown 50RM on a cake which I only remotely like. Hmm... can I say
that I've been buangkoked? ha ha.
Anyway, it was nice of God to
put us 2 complainers in touch. I got an sms from her later that night
thanking me for my time. She did the sweetest thing for me too. She,
not liking layer cake at all, offered to take it from me. I felt
appreciated and that really saved me day.
