It was nice meeting Jeremy and Dunman last night - and their partners in tow of course. Jeremy surprised me by bringing along his partner...! Well.. she's female. She abit quiet but I think she's nice. I wasn't up to going for dinner with those guys actually. My parents were going out for dinner with their friends and they asked whether I wanted to tag along, my sister was staying at home, having to work and have instant noodles.
So.............caught in between a fancy restaurant and instant noodles.. I decided that spending time with my secondary school buddies would be more rewarding. - actually, I just got back from an appt; was abit of a grouch and it was one of those nights that I just wanted to be myself and away from instant noodles.
I'm glad I did that. We had dinner at Crystal Jade (bishan - i didn't know that there was an outlet over there; are they everywhere now?) Dunman almost brought the whole restaurant to a standstill with an over enthusiastic 'Lao ah Lao ah' - thinking that he was in some kopitiam (tossing yu sheng). The place was quiet for a moment or 2. The lady sitting behind Dunman jumped. I ... uh looked down at the table and tried really hard not to move.
Lol. That's quite a moment.
I dragged them off to greenwood/watten for some Gelatooooo after. The ice cream was ok. We sat at the kids table (the chairs were really small and the table quite low. luckily BIG wasn't ard. He'd be breaking the chairs surely) BIG's not only BIG. He's heavy too.
We always seem to crack BIG jokes whenever he's not around. :) The evening was fantastic, I did feel abit lonely but I'm happy to have gotten out anyway - it took my mind off more weighty issues.
Thanks guys - for allowing me to be happily crappy.
