Gold Class
We (Marie + I) almost caught Narnia on the Gold Class seats after dinner. Those prizes seats apparently allows the view to slouch (recline actually) almost all the way. Marie's spoilt - she has only been on the Gold Class since coming over to Thailand. 'Abit like airline seats', Marie describes them. So it was a huge pity for me that those seats ran out. We settled for the more common seats instead. I was caught by surprise when all stood up to pay their respects to their king prior to the start of the movie (national anthem?). Even Marie rocketed upright
Sumo
Well, the movie was kinda of a last minute thing actually. We have been talking about it the night before but no concrete plans. It was no surprise however when Marie rang me up.
Marie: hey do you want to watch a movie?
Me: sure I'm ok where?
Marie: siam center, siam discovery?
Me: ok, so where are you now?
Marie: siam paragon
Me: hey actually i'm at siam discovery having dinner right now, would you like me to check up on the tickets?
Marie: oh ok, i was thinking of having my dinner at sumo over there -
Me: oi! i'm there now!!! yah, having some crab meat fried rice
Marie: ok, wait for me, i'll come over now.
They have great sashimi there too. What luck.
Gym
I must have done 3000 push-ups and 4000 sit ups that morning. I should have cycled almost 20km too.
My body's aching now.
Actually it's more like a hundredth of that amount. I'm really embarrassed to say that my body's already aching.
Cofy at the Danube
I found an excellent place for morning cofy today - Danube Coffee at times square. Nice long window with a view overlooking Sukhumvit Road. Comfy large sofas to lounge around too.
- and they have one of the best designer mochas (not roadside) around.
I didn't know this:
' ...the steamed milk is divided into two layers, i.e. the lower layer is milk and the upper layer is the foam of the milk that looks smooth like it is the same substance of milk. The next process that also needs attention is the process of pouring that could tell which cup is Latte or Cappuccino. For the most importance, the workers who pour the milk should have the technique and skill to do their job. This is because this process could make the taste of coffee bad...'
Man...these guys have standards. Helps that the waitresses are hot too.
At the tailors
They are finally back to work at last. I went into a shop just. Their mannequins looked rather trendy. It was probably not the cheapest but I was comfortable with the tailor and price.
Good thing is that they deliver to sg too. So I really hope that this works out.
